Legislation

During a Term, the Mayor can raise a change in legislation. These will be deemed as acts that sit within the laws of NSRP.

Acts

An Act will require approval from your Council, A Judge and the State Government. Acts are also subject to repeal by the same method in which they are raised so subsequent Mayors may repeal your Act.

Your first step as Mayor should be to set up your Council. See City Council Without a council you wont be able to pass any legislation.

Interpretation

The Courts have the final interpretation on how these Acts are carried out in Law. Whilst you may control the wording and contents of an act the courts will determine how these are interpreted and play out in the eyes of the law.
